How much does life costs where you live?

Why not judge your intended heavenly destination by the murder rate per 100,000 ?

Apparently, just to kick off, the murder rate is 88.8 per 100,00 in Washington DC.Is that good I hear you asking yourself ?

Well to get it in some sort of proportion it's worse than Iraq !

I looked at my bank statement recently.

We is now spending 800GBP a month on grocery shopping, that is about 1250USD. :(

Kids are expensive, hate to think what is going to be in 10 years time when the kids are teenagers and young adults.

I could lease a nice new German car with that money instead i drive a 7 year old ford :(

Yeah that is good idea.

Im almost there in terms of cash.. for traders cash is king. As we dont have a tenured job like doctors and teachers and other middle class professions.

At the moment i have one luxury in that im paying 1% interest on my mortgage, they dont do those deals anymore, 25 year BOE base rate+0.5%. If that wasn't the case cost of living would be really painful right now.

If you go back to India, you will live like a rajah

Quote from andropov:

Why would he want to go back to a corrupt backwards country, where cows are worshipped and lower caste humans are treated as dogs. Not to mention open sewers! India would have been better off had the English stayed.
it would have been great if England never went there

Benny's idea of printing more and more money will suddenly strike imho as inflation.

What the dummy doesn't realize is that the politicians have made awfully bad decisions and the bankers etc. are cashing in on the " too big to fail " argument.

Poor ole Joe Sixpack isn't doing at all well.

We got the clones of other people's useless politicians right here in Europe, making as big a balls-up as anyone has ever experienced and continuing !

I live in Indiana, just moved to an apartment, rent is $500/month.

Can walk to McDonalds if I want to, but would never eat there

I can walk through the woods to the grocery store.

Tried to buy a black angus steak yesterday for $12, but the butcher told me he had some better white faced on sale for $8.

He picked one out for me, like he said "This one has a good tenderloin on it."

otherwise, cigarettes are $42 a carton and I buy a carton about every five days, but I can put on my clothes and walk to the c store and come home and get back in my pajamas before the computer even times out.

You won't eat at McDonalds but you buy a carton of cigarettes? Senseless.
