How long until the left starts trying to pin todays shooting on the right?

George Stephanopolous is not a newsman???
I don't know. My point is, and I've made this before, even Fox News does not appear partisan if you stick to the front page where the who, what, why, when and how are reported. It's when you follow links to opinionators, bloviators, etc. Hence the disclaimer, "the author's opinions are his own and do not reflect those of X or its affiliates", etc.

You try too hard.

New Record for the left...... I thought theyd managed to make it till noon atleast..... And they manage to get the wrong James Holmes too....... Sleazy ass holes.....

On Good Morning America, ABC News' Brian Ross and George Stephanolpoulos suggested that the Tea Party might be connected to the mass shootings early this morning in an Aurora, CO theater during a screening of the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight Rises. The mainstream media attempted to blame the Tea Party for the Tuscon shootings in January 2011, shortly after Republicans swept the midterm elections. Now, in the critical 2012 elections, the mainstream media seems poised to do the same--and ABC News has led the way.

Here is the exchange between ABC News chief investigator Brian Ross and host George Stephanopoulos about apparent suspect James Holmes:

Stephanolpoulos: I'm going to go to Brian Ross. You've been investigating the background of Jim Holmes here. You found something that might be significant.
Ross: There's a Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado, page on the Colorado Tea party site as well, talking about him joining the Tea Party last year. Now, we don't know if this is the same Jim Holmes. But it's Jim Holmes of Aurora, Colorado.
Stephanolpoulos: Okay, we'll keep looking at that. Brian Ross, thanks very much.

How interesting that Ross and ABC News should think to look to the Tea Party website first--and to broadcast politically volatile information without verifying if that "Jim Holmes" is the same as the suspect.

The "Jim Holmes" page on the Colorado Tea Party website is advertising an event with Middle East commentator Brigitte Gabriel next Thursday, July 26--hardly the behavior of a man who expected to be committing a deadly crime on July 20 for which he would certainly be apprehended and might not survive.

Look for more scapegoating from the mainstream media and the Democrats in the hours and days to follow.

UPDATE: The James Holmes who was arrested at the Aurora theater was 24 years old and seems to be from Denver, CO. The James Homes on the Tea Party website from Aurora, CO seems to match a James Homes who is in his 50's and does not match the profile of the suspect. More proof and Ross, Stephanolpoulos and ABC News rushed to blame the Tea Party without confirmation that the suspect is also the Tea Party member.

Is it time for gun control yet?
Oh, no. Gun control is never an answer. It's important to keep things exactly the way they are and hope for a different outcome. Isn't that a law or something?

This is a new and improved version of playing "knockout":D
Have patience, the perp could be a "light black" guy.

Are you actually defending that kind of journalism??? You dont think that this shit shows their motive right out of the gate???

This is how we are going to investigate the shooting, lets go see if we can find any james holmes who also happens to be a tea party member, then when we find one, with absolutely no evidence, lets just go on t.v. and say "well there is a james holmes out there who belongs to the tea party who could be responsible, we really have no clue but we are just going to announce it anyway......"

Just another day in Aurora.
However misguided, you'd think that a relatively smart guy like Mav74 would check his GPS when he finds himself in agreement with bonafide psychotic and resident paranoid schizophrenic Max E.
