Good question. Actually all inefficiencies sooner or later are discovered, for example you was only one on the lawn then other guy discovered then another etc. Profit pie is every time divided till it drops to 0 per every participant.Hypothetically speaking if you have an intraday edge in large caps stock and futures, that trades market orders only. How can it disappear. Is it frontrunning?
Thinning out stocks or contracts at prices you buy and sell at?
Price starts to change its behaviour?
Who and what is killing your edge?
How did Dan Zangers and Larry Williams and all the other "recent" traders lose their edge?
How can you prevent this from happening?
Thanks in advance

You are playing the greatest game ever, against the smartest players in the world.
Hello QuantVPS,You are playing the greatest game ever, against the smartest players in the world.
If that is so, then to maximize your performance you should always be in whatever markets you follow at all times so you can always be prudently managing your money for maximum gain in whatever direction you take. And since you claim that money management is the only edge, then you should not waste time trying to time the market. Just enter randomly and then prudently manage. The only true edge in trading is Prudent Money Management. That never disappears.
You should be constantly gathering market statistics and statistics about your strategy performance as well. You will notice a change very likely in both of them.Hypothetically speaking if you have an intraday edge in large caps stock and futures, that trades market orders only. How can it disappear.
