how come the europeans never invent anything?

You have big problems with unemployment in France for the new upcoming generation of younger men/women.

In france for example once you hire someone you cannot fire them so they keep the old farts along but cannot hire new people because they cannot fire anyone.

In UK young brits have to live 3-4 to a flat.

There is no silicon valley or entrepreneurs like in the US in the EU.

Right. You just described stagnation. The thing is that the material wealth of the poor in the U.S. is about the level of material wealth of the middle class in Europe (PPP adjusted). From a macro perspective, all these taxes just stagnate the country and keep everyone poorer than they could be.

Dead weight loss.
