Or it means that you suck at picking entries
And end up like Baron...
Or it means that you suck at picking entries
I'm in the camp that there is nothing new under the sun when it comes to trading approach. Every idea you and I have come up with has been thought about by countless of traders/investors before.
If your trading strategy can be easily reversed engineered in just a small sample size, then I'm sorry to tell you that you're trading the same system like everybody else.
But if you don't want to share, then that's fine too. But what's the point of making claims when you refuse to engage when you're confronted about it?
...and the oppositeActually there are just a few specific people who keep commenting because they think they are really good at teaching when they are really not.
You might be good at trading but that doesnt automatically make you a good teacher.
You can be a good teacher but a bad trader..Learning to trade and learning to behave as a professional is a difficult task whether through classical patterns or by reinventing the wheel. We are all different and we (those who survive the trials) will ultimately trade differently. I have posted many charts through the years, both in scalping and in recent years largely day swings showing what I do. I have no interest in mentoring nor the need for recognition. If it helps someone struggling to learn then it was worth the effort. But i certainly have no hidden secrets...the "Holy Grail"That was the logic that I used too. I mentioned many times on ET that the classical things available for free on internet don't work. I never studied any of these things as it is a waste of time and energy. For a real breakthru you need to start from zero and think out of the box.
Best way to have optimal results was not to read anything about the classical way people trade as that would infect the way you think in a negative way. Your subconscious would still use that knowlegde from classical theories and sabotage your attempts to research something completelly different.
I don't agree with your last sentence. I could not find an uncomplicated way. But maybe I am too stupid to find that.
Yep, not mutually exclusive but separate skills....and the oppositeYou can be a good teacher but a bad trader..
If you read between the lines, there are many golden nuggets to be found on ET. The problem is most people here suffer from attention-deficit syndrome. They can't focus on one thing at length. If the topic is about "trend", they start talking about some voodoo crap, always going off the tangent.Users here are more reluctant in spoonfeeding strategies. That's a million dollar question.
You will have better luck on reddit, youtube, google etc.
