How can we buy shares of the Fed ?

Quote from SNBthetrue:

Hello,

As the Fed is a private organisation, it's aim is profit ? So how can a private investor, trader buy shares ? ( as you can do with the SWISS NATIONAL BANK )

lol

You can't. It's a PRIVATE Corporation.

Ownership is distributed amongst Member Banks (Commercial Banks).

The only way to own the FED is via proxy through one of its holding Companies (JPM, CITI, BoA, GS etc).

Quote from the1:

This is the reason for all the problems this country is facing. The Member Banks own the Fed by virtue of owning stock in the Fed but the Fed is responsible for Regulating those very same banks. Even the Chicago Mob couldn't come up with a better racket than this.

That's right. Most people are idiots.

Correct. Most of that private stock is owned by foreign individuals and families.

where is this market where the FED shares changed hands ?

Good one.

IF shares were transferable to non-member Banks (perhaps they are), who, in their right mind, would sell them?

FED ownership is akin to to holding the US economy by the throat. Present and Future.

That's a shit load of money and power.

Nobody would sell that to you, or anyone.

Hence, the Shares are PRIVATE.

And always will be.

The same people that created the FED are the same People who own the Shares now.

End of Story.

Probably. Yep. I'd like to see the original copy of the Banking Committee's report on FED ownership issued back in the 30's.

If true, then its owned by Old European Families.

Just curious, isn't there a court register of companies in the US where you can check the deed of establishment + the current stakeholders' list, just like the Companies House in UK?

Shouldn't be difficult to find out where all 12 regional feds are incorporated / seated. Just my 2 cents.
