Just bought one of these, 69 Stingray. Numbers matching stock. This isn't a picture of mine, but looks just like it. 300HP 350, not super fast still kind of cool imo.
i have a 72 coupe small block. All original (even original factory defects!) with 30k miles. Beautiful cars.
I remember that. What a douche.
Yeah they are fun cars. Kind of quirky (vacuum controlled headlights lids and wiper cover), but very basic. Mine still has points ignition, no power brakes, no A/C. Engine is easy to work on and I haven't had any trouble getting parts. Lots of these still around. Here is a pic of mine:

Apparently I don’t have any photos on my phone! I haven’t driven it once this year which is a shame.

Nice. I like the T tops. And 68-72 still had the chrome bumpers and hadn't been too farked up by fed emissions requirements yet.
