Just bought one of these, 69 Stingray. Numbers matching stock. This isn't a picture of mine, but looks just like it. 300HP 350, not super fast still kind of cool imo.

i have a 72 coupe small block. All original (even original factory defects!) with 30k miles. Beautiful cars.
 
Yeah they are fun cars. Kind of quirky (vacuum controlled headlights lids and wiper cover), but very basic. Mine still has points ignition, no power brakes, no A/C. Engine is easy to work on and I haven't had any trouble getting parts. Lots of these still around. Here is a pic of mine:

I confess I know very little about cars, but even I can tell that is a beautiful car.
