Obama explained, "My experience when you talk to a guy like a BP ceo, he's gonna say all the right things to me. I'm not interested in words. I'm interested in actions."
"My experience when you listen to a guy like Obama, he's gonna say all the right things... I'm not interested in words. I'm interested in actions and results!!"

Another problem is that you don't publicly kick someone's ass until after the problem is solved. Very poor leadership to say that in mid-crisis because you may need the ass-kickee's help, and you should be focused on problem solving and not a showpiece public ass kicking.
Expected though from an empty suit concerned with image.
Boehner to Obama: Find some 'ass to kick' on the budget deficit:
House Minority Leader John Boehner (R-Ohio) said Wednesday that President Barack Obama should find someone's "ass to kick" regarding the budget deficit.
The Republican leader riffed off comments the president made Tuesday that he consults with experts on the BP oil spill to determine "whose ass to kick."
"Look, we're broke," Boehner said in a statement. "We're $13 trillion in debt, and 43 cents of every dollar the federal government spends this year we're going to have to borrow and pass the bill on to our kids and grandkids.
"I think it's time for Democrats here on Capitol Hill to start listening to the American people"
They were so successful with the economy, Iraq, Afganistan, bank failures, recession, torture, treason, personal privacy rights, protecting us from terrorists... Why the hell not let them fuck this up too.
