BUT the sentiment is 100% accurate.
I remember seeing a documentary within the past few years,
of large city families (husband/wife)
shipping their children off to farms in the interior of U.S.
The kids became either family members (of more wealthy families),
or just flat out indentured servants.

My wife says it was Amazon Prime, called "Train Children".
I can't find it.

Same story featured in the "based on real events" movie "Seabiscuit"
The jockey in the movie was "given up" by his biological family.
That part is very likely totally accurate.

My mother's father (RIP) lost his business in Poughkeepsie, NY,
then drank himself to death, 1935. He was 53 years old.
Anybody in 2024, needs to sit up and pay attention.
Right now.
People (e.g. government) lie and cheat.
Sh*t happens.

I don't think that was it Mr. Zdreg.
I think most of the families were in NYC.
It was staggering to watch.

Point being:
Our government has reached sprawling proportions,
mostly by sleight of hand
(using various platforms for expanding the money supply).
But it's totally a ONE TRICK PONY.
That is, if you only have a hammer,
everything looks like a nail.

My mother was 12 when her father passed away.
If it was not for a very generous grandfather in NYC (Battalion Chief NYFD),
she would have taken a ride on the Orphan Train.
 
Broke above prvious ATH, even though we're trading back below... Still optimistic we'll be heading higher in the coming days. Now go sell them kids. :D
