If Trump wins the left will go apeshit. The will react violently and it will be ugly, really ugly for an extended period of time. If Trump loses, the right will piss and moan, talk shit about the 2nd amendment and the tree of liberty needing to be watered, and then go back to their jobs.
Here's the deal. The extreme right is small, unorganized and poorly funded. The extreme left has large numbers, are very well organized and have strong financial support. The greater threat is obvious.
“I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have.”
the answer is yes.
one two things matter to this guy, enriching himself any way possible; and staying in power, won't let it go.
if we are not a strong constitutional state, this guy will turn into xi and putin without a second thought.
and now this guy got his daugther-in-law into the leadership, turning grand old party to his personal platform.

As fate would have it some dumbass has been charged today with unlawful discharge of a weapon on Jan 6th protest. They got him on video firing the handgun into the air, pretty obvious he's guilty. He should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. That does not qualify as an insurrection, but certainly a felony level crime. Now times that by a hundred people charging into the building while firing weapons at the security personnel...then you have an insurrection. A feeble one, but an insurrection none the less. What actually happened was a protest got out of hand, as protests often do, and turned into a half assed riot, which of course is a crime. Riot yes, insurrection? Laughable.
Yes, that's exactly what I'm claiming. Jan. 6th was the very definition of a "mostly peaceful protest". No guns were brought to "overthrow" the government.
Maybe you need to go read this thread -- Attendees of Confederate Woodstock dismayed that actions have consequences
I will note that many insurrectionists were charged, indicted and convicted for bringing guns into the Capitol building (here, here, here, here, and easy to find many more examples using a simple Google search).
So this is you earlier...
After the numerous arrests for bringing guns into the Capitol were pointed out you changed your tune, eh?
On top of it all another one gets arrested today for discharging his gun in the Capitol during the insurrection attempt. This won't be the last one.

a rope and a tree ...
There is a world of difference between carrying a gun and one guy we now know fired a gun in the air and an actaul assualt. The one being a crime for sure, but an actual insurrection would be people, many people launching a full scale assualt on the Capitol while firing weapons at people. That didn't happen, nothing like that occurred. Maybe one day you'll actually be in a firefight, a real gun battle. Then you'll know the difference and right quick. Couple shots fired in the air is an attention getter for sure. Hundreds/thousands rounds going off, bodies dropping, sustained fire, a whole different game. Jan 6 wasn't anywhere near that and any honest person knows that. Was what happened illegal? Absolutely. Should people be charged accordingly? Yep. But trying to overthrow the government? Anyone claims that cannot be taken seriously. Case closed as Vanny would say.So this is you earlier...
