There is a world of difference between carrying a gun and one guy we now know fired a gun in the air and an actaul assualt. The one being a crime for sure, but an actual insurrection would be people, many people launching a full scale assualt on the Capitol while firing weapons at people. That didn't happen, nothing like that occurred. Maybe one day you'll actually be in a firefight, a real gun battle. Then you'll know the difference and right quick. Couple shots fired in the air is an attention getter for sure. Hundreds/thousands rounds going off, bodies dropping, sustained fire, a whole different game. Jan 6 wasn't anywhere near that and any honest person knows that. Was what happened illegal? Absolutely. Should people be charged accordingly? Yep. But trying to overthrow the government? Anyone claims that cannot be taken seriously. Case closed as Vanny would say.

I wanna know... how many of you truly believe that if Trump were to win the election, it would be the last election we ever have? IE, he wouldn't step down or whatever.

We are not a banana Republic yet. I would be more concerned with Democrats who have shown their unbridled abuse of powers with activist judges in the lower courts complicit in those abuses. If anyone is going to be a dictator after seizing power, it is going to be those on the left. Democrats backed up by the deep state who will not enforce any laws they violate as is the case now. They will also, confiscate the assets of their political opponents which is what Leticia James is trying to do to President Donald Trump.

During President Corazon Aquino time in office, they launched multiple coups against her, like 5 or 6 if I remember correctly. Our building was full of holes from bullets that flew on both sides. Soldiers died on both sides. Soldiers occupied buildings, posted snipers at the top of buildings. A Coup D'Etat is very similar to an insurrection where an armed group tries to topple the government and seize power. The tanks and APCs (or Bradleys) came out. Soldiers in full battle gear armed to the teeth. January 6 was a stroll in the park demonstration and nothing more.

Once again, let's outline the facts The actual federal criminal charge in the United States for Insurrection is Seditious Conspiracy. Numerous MAGA insurrectionists have been CONVICTED of these charges. The charges very clearly stood up in court and now these insurrectionists are rotting in prison. Noting that none of their appeals have worked.

Yeah it's funny, five pages later and not one of them has come out and said they believe that would in fact be the case. They must know deep down inside that the bs being dished up by shows like 'The View' and the MSNBC 7-11PM weeknight lineup is exactly that...bs.
