I will note that many insurrectionists were charged, indicted and convicted for bringing guns into the Capitol building (here, here, here, here, and easy to find many more examples using a simple Google search).

The only real violent act was a cop killing Ashley which was unnecessary. The whole thing was over in a couple hours. Compare that to the months of mob violence the left carried out during 2020. That was an attempt at insurrection of local municipality.
You can pretend that a half dozen Cosplay Nazi's on some street corner surrounded by a 100 cops are a threat, but we all know the radical left are the armed and dangerous ones. Indisputable evidence of that.

Unlawful possession on the grounds, did not enter. Tsk, tsk. The horror. Another guy "lost" his gun. LOL. How many of those, "we'll never know how many guns were brought" were drawn and fired? Zero. There was no insurrection. The media labeled it as such and a criminally corrupt justice department ran with it. All to send a message. When we steal the next election don't come anywhere near this place or you'll become a political prisoner.
