Homeland Security Chief declares war on the 2nd Amendment.....'matter of national security'

in the democrat world, He who controls the list controls the Second Amendment.

Great way to put it. How many times we are going to play Charlie Brown to Lucy snatching the football away?

I can't list all the supposedly good, well-meaning proposals republicans were intimidated into going along with, only to see them distorted all out of shape by democrats later. My favorite example is the Americans With Disabilities Act, which dimwit George H. W. Bush supported naively. Who can be for discriminating against the lady in the wheelchair, right? Only then we found out that activist judges and the government were applying it to a whole range of bogus "disabilities." Any kid who claims to have ADHD gets special dispensations for taking tests like the SAT. You can't fire anyone who has one of about 9,000 disorders, and somehow, no matter how crazy they are, they are functional enough o get a lawyer and some shrink who will sign off on it.

Or how about obamacare? "If you like your doctor, you can keep him. If you like your insurance plan, you can keep it." Only it turns out you can't because your doctor is not on the new network and your insurance plan is gone, replaced by one that costs twice as much with three times higher deductible. But Jose and his 12 kids get free insurance now, so shut up.

And who controls the no gun list? DHS, which is run by a criminally incompetent AA appointee who thinks right wing groups are the real problem and gun control is the answer? Or the FBI, which had the 9/11 terrorists, the Boston bombers and this Orlando asshole basically handed to them, yet still managed to fumble the ball?

We cannot in any circumstance trust the government that produced the IRS scandal, then covered it up and lied about it and continues to stonewall it, to decide who gets a gun and who doesn't. based on some secret criteria. Oh, we will get due process, a judge will decide. Well ask Trump about that. What if you get some Sonia Sotomayer gun-hating judge that sees every white person as the next Charleston shooter? And why should we have to spend tens of thousands of dollars to exercise a constitutional right?

Here's the hypocrite test. How many media outlets will give the government the right to shut them down if they are found to be promoting terrorism?

well, Hillary says Trump is an ISIS recruiter so any station which broadcasts Trump on TV should be shut down. (it would be fantastic publicity for Trump.)

Great post.

My view on the 2nd Amendment...

First let me reveal that I am a Hall Of Fame bowler. I once was asked by a newspaper reporter something like.... "Why do you win so much?..." My reply was, "I pay attention", and "superior execution of the fundamentals".

So... here's my take on the "superior execution of the 2nd Amendment".

1. Each person is/should be allowed to defend himself/family/friends and others against aggression.

2. Each person should be allowed to defend his property.

3. Each person should be allowed to defend HIS LIBERTY... from government aggression, foreign or domestic. (This notion obviously from our Revolutionary War heritage.)

For defense against government aggression, the citizenry needs to have effective counter weapons. If the government has high-powered rifles, the citizens need to have access to the same. If not, the citizenry is basically disarmed... thus negating the ability to defend their liberty.

Yeah, nobody likes it when some whackjob psycho muslim shoots up a nightclub, movie theater, or school... but that's part of the price... one of the costs... of Liberty. (As said a million times before, "Freedom isn't free".)

In WWII, the Japanese knew they could not invade America, because "everybody there has a gun". EXACTLY!

If the government disarms us, they will be free to do any damned thing they want... including busting down our doors, hauling us out into the street in the middle of the night, putting a bullet behind our ear, then taking our homes.

THAT'S what the 2nd Amendment is all about deterring!!

Take the guns from the secret service and capital police first

Destroy the walls around the White House and the gated communities these democratic schucks live behind

Then they can have all the gun control they want.
