Hints of higher health premiums in 2015

I hope you don't have objections to unskilled illegal immigrants on your roof. It IS all he hires, he despises American workers.

In SC where I live I see illegals most of the time on these type of jobs. Quality is what counts ... so if they can accomplish that then I'm good. I can't communicate with them other than 'si' or counting to 10.

Average IQ of Roofers based on worsum scores: 89.3
So at least I have 6 points on your dumb ass.

Well there ya go bigzero, you've been begging for a bet. Here's your chance to put up or shut up.

You were the only wager I offered here and to your credit you didn't take the bet. I only go for sure things and I'm assuming DH also does. I'd be foolish to bet with him on his wager, just like It would of been foolish for you to bet with me on mine. I don't take dares or other peoples bets, been around the block too many times for that mr 95 IQ. Now try again with your junior high mentality lukey.

And I'm not bluffing ... I am dead serious. I get so tired of people who shoot from the hip without data to support their unfounded assertions. I will gladly submit my premium data with undeniable proof that my premiums not only did not increase every year but that it decreased in at least one year. A CPA and/or attorney can verify the validity of my data.

I hope bigarrow takes my bet ... assuming he has $400K to part ways with.

Here you cowboy. I was not talking about DH's insurance costs and you being the genius you claim to be I figured you'd figured that one out cowboy.

Twenty years ago U.S. healthcare cost $2800, on average, per person. Ten years ago, that figure had risen to $4700 per person. And four years ago, in 2008, it was $7500 per person.

Now calm down and stop shooting from the hip. no one gives a shit about your particular situation for the better or worse.

Too late idiot, you had your chance to make some money on that bet and like a typical loud mouth you backed down.
So you insist on a bet with a guy that doesn't like betting. Then claim a "victory" when he doesn't bet with you?

You sure that's the story you want to stick with?

Reading comprehension isn't your strong suit is it?

The title of this thread is: Hints of higher health premiums in 2015

You stated in a reply to Lucrum "Idiot they've been raising prices every year for the last 20 years."

I stated not everyone has done so. I have FACTS to prove it.

Health Insurance Premiums Up 131% in Last Ten Years

Hey DH contact these people and offer them your wager and scold them for shooting from the hip. But seriously DH stop being a clown on this.

Want another bet? 10 years ago I was paying $157.26/month .... and the last year my wife and I paid $364.08/month, or $182.04 per person.

That's an increase of $24.78/month, or 15.75% over that time period.

Do you understand anything at all about this? Many people are stupid and don't shop well. Many people don't do research. They just say "let's buy a Blue Cross policy".

And I don't shoot from the hip. As I stated I have tax/financial records going way back ... so have premium invoices from 10 years ago and have current data as well.

And if you think I'm shooting from the hip I will AGAIN offer you a wager. this time it's a bet that I was paying $157.26 ($478.71/quarter). And I'll gladly produce documentation that shows the $364.08 in the most recent year.

Wager amount? $500K. If you're so certain I'm shooting from the hip then you'd be an idiot to turn down a wager made in a public forum.
