Hints of higher health premiums in 2015

A guaranteed way to make big $$ is silly. Sure shows faith in your position!

The only certainty on this site is that the guy with the high six or seven figure bets is absolutely and w/o question FOS. The bet keeps escalating as though it's anything but comical.

Yeah, the guy with worse coverage than a cocker spaniel wants to be 400K. Wheeeee.

Poor DH thinks this is about him and his personal insurance. An example of how right wing fanaticism can make an otherwise smart guy act foolish.
Hey DH I made my point and posted third party evidence to support my statement. THIS ISN'T ABOUT YOU so calm your ass down LOL.

I merely pointed out FACTS ... you do understand what FACTS are, yes?

And my FACTS showed that your assertion that rates went up 131% was pure BS.

No, the thread is not about me. But when you post crap that is erroneous I'll happily correct you.

It's not my fault that people, perhaps you even, are stupid consumers who don't know HOW to shop. We used to be with BC/BS .. they started jacking rates up 15 - 20% year over year. I went elsewhere and got an identical policy that was 35% lower than BC/BS. You seem to not 'get it'. If you go out and buy a car for $25K and I buy an identical care for $18K I guess you believe that particular car costs $25K (and not $18K, even though others made a purchase at that price point).

Borderline death panels for seniors ...........

and it shows even more lies by Odumbo and HSS. And Odumbo plans to extend even more penalties in 2015. Guess he's starting to realize this is a ticking time bomb as far as fiscal matters go.

Don’t trust ObamaCare’s definition of “value” either. Everyone wants value, but ObamaCare defines it in a way that produces the opposite: dangerously skimpy care for seniors.
(see link below)

http://nypost.com/2014/05/18/obamacare-risks-for-the-elderly/

Ignoring this evidence, ObamaCare incentivizes hospitals in all 50 states to imitate low-spending hospitals that are deadly for seniors. That’s some definition of value.

Can you say 'death panels'? Withhold treatment and the elderly die .... great job Odumbo.

And when people from Harvard start using words like 'bogus' relative to Odumbocare it shows how inept Odumbo & Dems are.

Let's see big idiot ... err, big arrow defend this nonsense.

Well then this would include your buddy bigarrow. A few thousand to 5K to 7K to unlimited, with an "anonymous backer."

1) "And my FACTS showed that your assertion that rates went up 131% was pure BS."

2) "It's not my fault that people, perhaps you even, are stupid consumers who don't know HOW to shop. We used to be with BC/BS .. they started jacking rates up 15 - 20% year over year."

So is your assertion that "rates went up 131% was pure BS" itself BS, or is the assertion that your rates went up (and then you changed providers) pure BS?

Another reason premiums are climbing is that we're an aging population--demand is rising.

Aging population is one part. But ...... we have more out of shape people that ever. From obese kids to any age adults. Kids play with their electronic device in free time .... most get little exercise. Parents are lazy .. they order carryout or other unhealthy food. Both kids and adults eat this junk. Parents too don't exercise for the most part. Go watch Ken Burns piece on baseball in the decades. Study the fans attending games in the 50's, 60's and probably even the 70's. You see slender or average weight people, not slobs that we see today. But hey, since fat/obese is the majority I guess these people feel that they are in fact 'normal'. And it is they who are incurring drastically higher health care expenses (that the healthy end of subsidizing).
