I was responding to the idea that we may have Hitler-esque fascism imminent with the election of Hillary. Conditions in America are not severe enough to make that scenario plausible, imo. We don't have masses of cold, hungry, demoralized citizens living with wild inflation and under brutal economic constraints imposed from abroad. That's all I meant when I said, "it's not that bad". We simply do not look remotely like Germany in the aftermath of WWI.

I certainly don't (you weren't asking me, I know). I think liberals should be more concerned with Hillary than conservatives, because in today's world, once Clinton gets in the WH (and she won't, I'm betting) her reversion back to her roots would be considered more Republican than Democrat.

She's not going to give two shits about the poor, about welfare, about the elderly, about freedoms, etc.

otherwise, all my money is on Hillary (although I bet before she opened her mouth and started talking down to people like a democrat version of Michelle Bachman. (notice how she talks slow like she is talking to an Iraqi, and I am not putting any new money on her.))

this could easily be solved if the republicans would just nominate a female hispanic or black. But they are too stupid and live in their own little dying white male world. They think everybody that votes is just like the white guys that donate to their campaign.

This aint policy. Politics is show biz. You gotta run a candidate who will sell. Ask Disney. Those old dinosaurs just aren't selling like they use to.

perhaps idealistically, but pragmatically, all we can do is protect the middle class from a government who wants more and more of their pay check. Everytime they tax and spend the middle class gets squeezed. It's about time you democrats and us libertarians unite and fight against an increasingly elite government class. Pretty soon, they will own everything and all we will be left with is the handouts and leftovers.

you see, It's all propaganda. All we have to do is start referring to the democrats as "the elite government class". They call it "fire with fire." Rush Limbaugh made a fortune on this. "No matter how stupid you are, we can be stupider."

Just wait until we start publishing the carbon footprint of every elected official (not to mention all the climate change activists.)
