Hillary - Butchered Benghazi

Sitting in a coffee shop the other day, I encountered a man and his friend discussing the 2016 election. Curious, I, admittedly, eavesdropped and learned that the man intended to vote for Hillary in 2016.

Why? Because, as he described his “rationale”: “She could be the first woman president and I want to tell me daughter that that ceiling has been broken.”

It’s incredible that in this day and age when we are supposed to consider the quality of character and the level of experience one is supposed to bring to a position of power that the vast majority of those polled would so candidly claim that the best thing about Hillary Clinton is her gender.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So many voters fucked up and voted Odumbo simply to put a (half) black guy in the WH. Now those same bozos think it would be a good idea to vote for the Hilldabeast, simply because she has a vagina?

Luke . . . you seem to have forgotten all about your famous ''Anyone but Obama'' chant.

It surprises me, but then again it doesn't surprise me.

We're talking about a country where millions of people are very concerned about the Kardashians.

The media and the whole celebrity culture exert tremendous influence. They have managed to push the country leftward by a sizeable magin. These days, any republican presidential candidate starts out with a big deficit soley due to media propaganda.

Young people in particular seem to have lost the ability to understand cause and effect. They are infantilized to an astounding degree. Many still live at home and mooch off their parents into their late 20's or even later. In fairness to them, they grew up in a country where honest hard work was considered something for illegal immigrants to do. Mnay of them never cut the grass or did household chores. Working on the family sedan with dad? Don't make me laugh.

They saw huge rewards go to corrupt bankers, pols and entertainers. Celebrity status is considered qualification enough. How else could you think Obama was qualified for anything?

The media are diligently creating an aura of not just legitimacy around Hillary but an air of inevitability. Opposing her will be characterized as an attack on women. Her own qualifications are minimal, even by today's relaxed standards.

Whatever. Once republicans manage to sell us out on immigration and amnesty, it won't really matter. She will probably be seen as a good president compared to what will follow.

It is amusing to see the republican minds dismiss reality, in this case the Committee's review, and substitute it with whatever their right leaning opinionated "news" sources report.

Senate committee says Benghazi attacks were preventable

WASHINGTON -- The Senate Intelligence Committee has concluded that the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on the U.S. diplomatic facility and CIA annex in Benghazi, Libya, could have been prevented, according to a bipartisan report on the incident that was declassified Wednesday.

"The committee found the attacks were preventable, based on extensive intelligence reporting on the terrorist activity in Libya — to include prior threats and attacks against Western targets—and given the known security shortfalls at the U.S. Mission," said a press release issued by the offices of Sens. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., and Saxby Chambliss, R-Ga., the committee’s chairwoman and vice chairman.

It also says that the State Department failed to sufficiently increase security to protect the mission in light of deteriorating conditions in the region,

exactly... how is not that hillary's failure.... yet the left pretends she was exonerated.

The Accountability Review Board investigation, commissioned by then Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and released in December, placed blame for the Benghazi attack in large part on the State Department for not answering repeated calls for more security.

But the report also is peppered with references to Stevens and how well the embassy made the case to Washington for more security. In a news conference at the time of the release of the board’s finding, Adm. Mike Mullen, one of the board’s two chairmen and a former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, referred to the failing of the embassy.

“As the chief of mission, he certainly had a responsibility in that regard, and actually he was very security conscious and increasingly concerned about security,” Mullen said. “But part of his responsibility is certainly to make that case back here, and he had not gotten to that point where you would, you might get to a point where you would be considering, ‘It’s so dangerous, we might close the mission.’”

The embassy Stevens oversaw in Tripoli “did not demonstrate strong and sustained advocacy with Washington for increased security” in Benghazi, the report stated.

Traditionally, State Department officials have depended on the State Department’s own Diplomatic Security Service, local police and military forces and security contractors to secure embassies around the world.

To think Clinton is responsible is a stretch. Managers are rarely involved in details like this. The blame falls with the Diplomatic Security Service and lower level State dept officials and Stevens himself.

Blaming Clinton is a witchhunt by the right to disparage their biggest threat. It's absurdly obvious to all but right wing Faux News watching morons.
