At a minimum, if Youngkin can maintain his straight arrow image and not get caught in a motel room taking crack with prostitutes (not that hard for some, seemingly very hard for others) then if a pub wins in 2024 he can easily get a cabinet position.
As an aside and speaking of VA, I heard about a Supreme Court case the other day that had not previously crossed my mind. I could look it up I spoze but, I guess it was pre-Roe and back when Virginia was conservative. Apparently the facts giving rise to the issue, were that abortion was not legal in Virginia, but some New York abortion mill or the like had billboards around VA advertising their abortions services in New York. So, VA argued that it was furtherance of something that is a crime in their state, and the abortion mill arguing free speech, interstate this and that the crime would be in New York so it is not for VA to get involved in enforcement or regulation. Much to my surprise, the abortion mill apparently won. Anyway, you don't have to be a rocket surgeon to suspect that that case is going to get a whole lotta attention in the near future- with the arrival of the internet throwing some more complications into the mix. No punchline there. Just sayin, it is going to be deja vu all over again for that type of issue.
Good catch! Bigelow v. Virginia decided after Roe. Ad from NY Abortion clinic in Virginia magazine
