Actually, as you no doubt know, tofu takes on the taste of whatever food is mixed with it. Therefore, since it is bland, it works well with strong tasting foods. For example, although I eat very lean beef once a week to help ensure that I get enough iron, I genuinely like the taste of very spicy tofu chili enhanced with cayenne pepper. You won't feel you're compromising on taste, and you'll be sweating after having a bowl.Quote from ByLoSellHi:

Okay. Well, I definitely go by "omni," but I try to limit my meat intake to very lean portions of about 6 to 8 ounces per serving and generally no more than 3 times a week. On the one hand, I think it can be challenging to get all of the nutrition that the body requires strictly from a vegetarian diet, but on the other hand excessive meat consumption seems to age the body prematurely. And so, I favor something of a skewed middle ground, with a greater emphasis on fruits and vegetables.Quote from ByLoSellHi:
killthesunshine obstensibly made it so by saying any meat or animal protein intake is not only not healthy, but harmful, and by claiming that humans are herbivores, nor omnivores.
