Read this report from CBS, hardly a conservative media outlet. The administration had evidence of numerous events leading up to this final attack. They don't give a 30% haz duty pay increase cause they think things are going smooth.
Spin all you like, the Obama administration failed to read the tea leaves. Tea leaves anyone with even the smallest level of concern or common sense would have been able to discern. At the end of the day we must conclude the truth of the situation on the ground just didn't fit their version of the war on terrorism, how well they claimed it was going, so they stuck their heads in the sand and "hoped". The result was brave men died. Obama is really good at that hope thing, and not much else.
