DRL: low risk/high return. Excellent fundamentals, immunity from subprime problems, benefiting with each interest rate cut, and its now at the bottom of the trading range. Anyone on the thread challenge this?

Yes this company is way off their 52 week high. A question Option Trader, how are they immune from the subprime mess?, also they finance construction and new housing developments, so where does that leave them as far as the slow growth? I am not challenging you, just looking for more details about this company.

Honestly if you really want to get into trading, I would spend that $1 on some intro trading classes. Putting money in the market with no sort of training, or trading plan really is the worst form of gambling.

It's okay to challenge me. A) They were never in the business of making subprime loans. B) The latter point creates a certain amount of dead money, but their live money makes up for it. They used to have other dead money as well, as they had many break-even loans in their portfolio; however, things changed with the interest rate cuts, which is available to Puerto Rico equally.

Thanks Option Trader.
