To me, it sounds like you are saying you believe in god because you don't really know what's out there, and you think you've experienced some sort of miracle(s) in your life, and that I will inevitably experience the same sort of miracle and come to realize that god exists. This makes no sense to me.

I did not say I have experienced miracles per se. I have said that I have experienced things that I, nor my peers could explain away. Kinda like UFOs. Four people get out of a car in the middle of a corn field and see a saucer. They look at each other, and then they look up again. The saucer flies away. Who do they tell?
With an atheist, there is no telling them about anything abstract. They can only grasp the concrete. Not passing a judgement, it is merely a matter of perception.
