LOL that just shows your lack of intelligence, doom the planet, so does consuming oil mean the earth will plummet into the Sun ?? NO!!

In a million years time, the Earth will still be there, human race likely won't like 300years before going back to the dark ages anyway, it's the human race which is at risk not the planet.

I think if you stop using oil for food / water transport, pumping water for irrigation and fertilizers then we go beyond shortage and into billions starving.

We need oil currently, to you know get to work, if people can't work then the system falls down, civilization as we know it stops working, it's going to take time, no 1 will willingly give up there life style.

It takes TIME!! we have the time, don't panic!
 
Oil companys the so called evil profit making empires are starting to invest billions in other renewable projects, with the profits, they can't do that without the profits, Algea farming being the most promising I think.

Oil is a finite source they understand this and there adapting, which is good.

And your not really worrying about the planet, your pissed at the price your paying for oil based products cause the evil oil companys are over charging you.

Well before it gets really bad, if all goes to plan we'd of pretty much stopped using fossil fuels, with the effect reducing all the time as we improve it's really a none issue.
