If you stop using fossil fuel today, civilisation will fall, billions will starve, fossil fuel is a limited source so we need time to develop tech which is capable of supporting us all while slowing moving to sustainable means.

Slowly, there is no rush or panic at the moment!

Oil demand is pretty low, so reduced co2 output and heat pollution should make for a cold winter and colder 2015.

No hurry at all? You may want to consult farmers and fishermen about that. Or anybody that doesn't live in a city (except for those mining coal).

So why are we adding a carbon tax on fuel that farmers and fishermen need to earn a living. A cost that increases the price that people need to pay for their food - hurting those most who live in poverty. All to cure a non-existent global warming problem.

20-30 should allow us to 95% reduce oil, which is happening anyway calm down, the problem is being sorted.

What "other side"? Did you not just read the statements of the science orgs? None, zero, nada dispute it. There IS no other credible "side" within the climate science community. The consensus is 97%. The other less than 3% work for the fossil fuel companies and related interests or are simply doddering old morons.

The doubt is not within the science community.

Oil will run out, population will decrease in this century rapidly, that will solve the issue either way so don't worry to much.

If we burn all the fossil fuels we will doom the planet. We can't do that. At least not without carbon sequestration.
