Heads up - FB earnings, Wednesday Nov 04. TSLA and PCLN also on deck.

How you've described my trading..., and what actually transpires are worlds apart

There is no "predicting" involved

And yes..., I suck at predicting on all TFs

You are correct in stating: "it always the same thing" - it has to be

As to "reaction" - who knows

========================

see a signal - enter
trade works / trade breaks down
on the the next one

Is that predicting..., reacting... following a process..., something else

I know exactly what it is to me..., and that is all that matters

RN

Predicting due to a reaction based on your educated research, its all the same shit to me, and I would not waste a single breath arguing over its semantics.

Come on AD..., don't let me down

Disbeliefs are as limiting..., as are beliefs - they deserve to be identified / acknowledged / resolved

Thx
RN

A few days ago you said the following:

"it is my expert opinion: that I thoroughly suck at predicting what is going to happen

Because I do

For a trader to try and know the unknowable - is a fool's errand - again - in my expert opinion (been there..., done that..., did not get a T-shirt)"

In my opinion, and judging from the fact that I have multiple hall of fame threads via different handles and solid performance of over 15 years, I consider it too one with expertise...

It is quite possible to predict market direction with extreme positive expectancy without the need to wait for X actions to react.

That is the disbelief I referred to.

Good trading to you and for what it is worth, I consider you are one of few good guys here.

As I do you.., which is why I wanted your feedback

I'll be the first to admit - I talk out of both sides on my mouth on this one

I get inside the mind of the mkt
I hunt elephants / whales
I read the mkt like a dime novel

Which with little extrapolation..., equates to - so you can predict it

============

In the next breath I say - it foolish to try and predict

===================

All I can say is:

Predicting is a completely insignificant part/ aspect of my trading

I completely embrace uncertainty

I am solely focused on a process when trading (akin to catching / hitting / throwing a ball..., riding a bike)

I do talk out of both sides of my mouth

I can easily make a case for FB doing up..., or down next week

There is much turmoil in the making..., for FB next week

Thanks AD - your insight is always appreciated Sir

RN,

Couple of bigger charts to accompany your 4hr, so far, sellers are playing the weekly return-line.

There's also a wedge on the daily that could also be in play until earnings, past earnings, most technicals are out the window (gamble).

Good trading.
