Have all the anti-gun-rights twits finished starting new threads?

Quote from IShopAtPublix:

The point is very easy to understand for everyone but you. If federal/state/local governments had a commitment to keep semi automatic weapons from people in the same way they have a commitment to keep C4 from people our gun crime would collapse.
NO it wouldn't. But then we don't really have a gun crime problem to begin with. We have a crazy people problem. Eliminating guns won't eliminate them.

Most of what I've been seeing are threads like this one, that are just focusing the poster's discontent of others who want to make any kind of changes that will inevitably be coming to the current system.

The only changes that might be coming is a reinstatement of the assault weapons ban, and the ban of extended magazines, like last time. When that happened, anything purchased previously was still legal and could still be sold. The only thing it accomplished was raising the prices of assault weapons on the open market - legally.

The rest of your speculation, and that of your fellow comrades, is just fantasy. But don't let me dissuade you from posting what you'd like to see happen. Just don't get too disappointed when it does not.

Have any of the anti-liberal twits even started any threads that address what the real problems may be, pertaining to the latest shootings?

... and address the decline of morality in this country that no doubt adds to the massive amounts of murder?

Let's start with the glorification of murder and mayhem in video games and TV, unbelievable levels of abortion, drug war violence, the non-stop attack on Christianity (Free Thinker anyone?) and removal of it from society, and so on. It aint the guns, it's the culture. You want to change that? It would be a good start if you want to end the violence.

Of course, the liberal twits won't face, or even in some cases acknowledge these truths.

Get real. The Sandy Hook shooter had an autism disorder and the fire guy was like 60 years old. I don't think he was playing video games.

Why did Holmes dress like the Joker? How bout the rest of my quote? You make my case that you and others won't face the reality of the situation. I'm not discussing one incident. I'm addressing the majority of them.

Wasn't the fire guy in prison for beating his Granny to death with a hammer? Why was he out? Why did he beat her? Sounds like moral decay to me.

An individual doesn't pump 10 or 11 rounds into 6 year olds unless he's been trained to keep pulling the trigger, and a video game does just that. You need to get real..badly.

It sounds like when you have 300 million people some of them are going be nuts.

And the number of nuts is increasing. I gave my opinion about the violence...more than once in these threads. I was making that point to hoof.

One reason may be that we are polluting ourselves with chemicals. There are over two hundred man-made chemicals in each one of us. We have no idea how these interact. Experiments with rats has shown that a common fungicide can cause anxiety disorders in the 2nd generation offspring. Meaning that actual change to the genes are taking place. Scary shit and it may explain the rise in autism and anxiety disorders among the youth.

WASHINGTON — When pregnant rats are exposed to a common crop chemical, their descendants three generations later show more anxiety and stress than the offspring of unexposed peers, US researchers said.
The study in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences suggests that the animal model may provide an explanation for the mounting number of cases of anxiety disorders, autism and obesity among humans in recent years.
"We are now in the third human generation since the start of the chemical revolution, since humans have been exposed to these kinds of toxins," said lead author David Crews of the University of Texas.
"There is no doubt that we have been seeing real increases in mental disorders like autism and bipolar disorder," he added.
"It's more than just a change in diagnostics. The question is why? Is it because we are living in a more frantic world, or because we are living in a more frantic world and are responding to that in a different way because we have been exposed? I favor the latter."

I'm also not a big fan of medicating our kids with drugs that slow them down, so to speak. I think the Columbine killers had been on such drugs as kids, though not 100% on that.

Regarding chemicals: I've begun to research my fishing holes in recent years. Don't consume anything that's downstream from paper mills, power plants, and factories. I won't consume any fish from farm ponds exposed to aerial pesticide treatment. And so on..
