Well, I concede that point. There are enough third world countries that would pass the test. On the other hand, how many families would be able to make that adjustment?
Years back I considered the sort of thing you speak of, but then the whole "creature comforts" became a drawback. For the right type of person, I have no doubt that they could move to any of the above countries and thrive. It's just that those are a very small percentage of the population (especially when you are talking about a family or someone middle-aged).
