Sounds like that supervisor is a latent homo...
This part doesn't sound too bad:

A few thoughts:
1. Is this the same bank that recently virtue-signaled that they would not do an IPO for any company with only white males on the board (of course that excludes places that don't care about that PC bullshit and prefer to focus on merit such as Asia and the middle east). If so, sounds like they have their own internal problems.
2. I assume that he filed a police report immediately after the assault happened. Based on the story, the advisor should have been arrested that night and charged with assault. Plenty of witnesses for the case.
