Does anyone know of a good trading room that's accepting traders. I have a few very specific strategies that I would like to share. These strats have their benefits and detriments. Perhaps other traders can provide insights on how to improve these strategies while benefiting from the strong points of the strategies.
Perhaps I'm delusional in believing that experienced traders would be more willing to share in a trading group; whereas, many use forums such as EliteTrader for amusement or remain veiled with the information shared/exchanged.

Two questions, unrelated to trading (I'll give you a break from the mountain of questions thrown at you on this thread).
Burpees? Crossfit devotee? Good friend is a certifiable CrossFit nut, he's been trying to get me started on the WOD for the last year or so. Haven't given up on my every other day trip to the gym, though with a house remodel coming up, I'm seriously considering a CrossFit gym at the house so I can workout on my own schedule a bit easier.
What do you ride? Woods or track? Any racing? We're solidly a KTM family. Oldest son is on a CR85 and about to move to a KTM125sx or a 150sx if I can find a deal. Youngest will be getting a KTM 50 Junior in another year or so once he's a little bit bigger. I've got a 105sx for tight woods (5'6 and 130 lbs), a 250sxf for track (lowered an inch) and a 400xcw (lowered 2 inches) that I take on dual sport rides.
Mainly ride woods, race enduros and hare scrambles. Have been spending a little time on the track lately as well (hence the 250sxf) as it really helps with the hare scrambles I do which always tend to have MX sections that generally eat my lunch.
I've been an endurance sport guy since high school. 20 years of pretty steady racing and training road cycling and triathlons. Gym work was always off season drudgery for me. I decided after I did an Ironman triathlon in '07 and '08 that I'd take a break from that for a while and try something completely new. I went through the P90x program a couple times then discovered and really got into crossfit earlier this year. It's a fantastic program, with great returns for the time put in and I love the endless variety.
The burpee thing is because I talked some friends into joining me on the '100 day burpee challenge'. Do 1 burpee on day 1, then 2 on day 2, etc up to 100 burpees on day 100. We're on day 71 today, so I'm throwing in burpees here and there all day long.
I'm actually building a gym in the new house we're building and setting it up as a crossfit facility. It has a separate entrance and locker room and I'm going to have a key card and give 'memberships' to a dozen or so friends and family. Once you pull out gym chalk and start dropping barbells and doing stuff like handstand pushups against the wall, most traditional gyms will ask you to leave. This way I can workout at home the way I want and have some hand picked training partners. Should be fun.
I was really into motocross in high school and after I decided I wanted to try a new sport on my hiatus from triathlon, I bought a new bike last year and started racing. I have a '09 CRF 450R and race once or twice a week May to September. I also have a '09 KTM 150 just because I like the idea of a smaller two stroke to remind me how to clutch and shift properly and it's a blast to ride. Haven't done much trail riding yet, but we've got a really good area not far from here, planning on checking it out soon.

Another low volume, generally boring week. The second losing week of the year, - $5k on 440,000 shares traded. Daily pl was -8, 0, +1, -3, +5.
I don't even remember any interesting trades to report. Except the one I missed. THO on Thursday probably would have been a sweet (but painful) long. Hard to say for sure as I missed the whole thing while eating lunch.

lescor, congrats on a great year so far. And thank you for your generosity and patience in this thread; it's extremely educational and inspirational.
Can you share some stats: on a typical day, while you away doing laps on your dirt bike, how many positions and how many shares total and $ amount you have open?
I understand you hedge your positions with spy and/or other etfs, but do you worry at all that while you are away, the market spikes either against you or in your favor, that you miss the chance to exit with a smaller loss or bigger profit? I guess this is a question about fear and greed, eh.
