Of course the only guy who is skeptical in this CBS piece is the one who actually owns a ski resort, the one who sees the books on a yearly basis.
CBS Predicts Climate Change Means the End of Snow: 'Winter Sports Could Be Doomed'
In another attempt to promote global warming activism, CBS This Morning journalists on Thursday warned viewers that climate change could lead to the end of snow and skiing. Co-host Charlie Rose informed viewers that "the author of a controversial book believes winter sports could be doomed." [See video below. MP3 audio here.]
Yet, if there was much "controversy" in the notions pushed by writer Porter Fox, they hardly made it onto the CBS segment. Instead, reporter Don Dahler tossed this softball to Fox: "If thousands of scientists agree that this is happening why are there elements who resist it so much?" The author of "Deep: The Story of Skiing and the Future of Snow," responded by lecturing, "I think there's a long history of doubting science when it goes against the grain of what you want to happen."
The only skepticism in the segment came when Dahler talked to Tyler Fairbank, the CEO of Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Massachusetts. On the subject of climate change and snow melt, he reasoned, "I know we're certainly not seeing the kinds of patterns and data that suggest the sky is falling."
Rose began the segment by connecting the just-completed Sochi winter Olympics. The host insisted that they "suffered some of the most extreme weather of any winter games." Rose specifically pointed out this included "temperatures in the 60s."
Yet, as the Media Research Center's Sean Long noted, this shouldn't be that shocking. In a previous report, "CBSâs Mark Phillips described [Sochi] as 'a subtropical corner of Russia where it never snows down on the coast and where the mountain snow base can vary dramatically from year to year.'"

I grow increasingly concerned for FC. Like most in "End Times" cults he is growing more and more hostile and angry as his end of the world predictions don't come true. Hopefully he won't go all Jamestown on us, or be found wearing Nike's like the Hale Bopp cultists.
These are tough times for the GW cultists as they worship at the alter of politically motivated junk science. Year after year, decade after decade, they are proven wrong time and again. Proof coming from the ultimate authority itself...mother nature continually working her magic as temperatures continue to balance out as they've done over and over again throughout the eons of time. Sometimes it's warmer than usual, sometimes colder, and in the end striking the perfect balance as always.
Maybe it's time for an intervention on poor FC. Perhaps he can be saved.

Yeah when facts don't support their delusions the facts become "statistics". And we all know statistics are bad.
It's kind of interesting to me how these boneheads can simply refuse to acknowledge the obvious, and the opinion of essentially the entire world's science community and 97% of it's climate scientists. It's a special kind of stupid. Willful.
I could see if it was obscure and arcane and it wasn't so common sense obvious. It's even more obvious than evolution, which of course many of these numbskulls also don't believe.
