Why are you so surprised the polls would change their samples. Gallup changed because of threats by Obama but the other ones are changing to become more accurate.

You cant predict an election using samples which skewed as badly as your favorite polls were skewed.

I am pretty sure some of the "de skewed" early because of all the attention the skewing received.

for instance that nbc/ wsj/ Marist poll is skewed to the Dems by plus 9.
That is crazy and irresponsible in a state where more people identify themselves as R than D.

That means Romney by 3 or more.

As I predicted in that thread as we got closer to the election the polls became unskewed. Resulting a very close race until the storm and the Christie Hug.
If you read the thread you will see a few weeks out before the election AK started to lose his mind when Obama's lead shifted to a Romney lead in some polls after the unskewing.

IMO the proper way to set up a poll is to look at recent a elections turnouts and perhaps adjust a point or two for your demographic projections.

For instance in the 2014 races... you would look at the 2010... turnouts and the 2012 turnout and figure your poll template should look similar unless you have proof of a great shift in the electorate.

If I were polling I would be closer to 2010 at the moment because of Obama's historically low approval ratings and the anti Obamacare sentiment.

However if you picked the 2012 turnout I would not called that skewed... just a choice.
If you go more Democrat than 2012... you are skewed.
