My dell 4600 came with the Nvidia FX5200 with one VGA and one DVI input. I currently have the dell 17" analog LCD monitor, and now that it is on sale for $210 I wouldn't mind getting another. Is it possible to hook an analog monitor up to a DVI input using a converter or do I need to buy a digital monitor? Thanks.
 
I don't know if there is a bad batch or not, but I just bought two also for 299 this week, and they have really washed out colors. They are good for reading text, or charts, but watching T&S or Lvl II gives me eye strain after 30 minutes or so. I guess I'm sensitive to the ghosting. There has been a lot of good feedback on these monitors, so I wonder if they started using a cheaper panel recently. I'm sending them back.
