Government Report Finds Drastic Impact of Climate Change on U.S.

Federal court strikes down EPA rule key to Obama's climate agenda

A federal court struck down a key piece of the Obama administration's climate agenda on Tuesday by saying the Environmental Protection Agency does not have the authority to ban the use of certain chemicals used in air conditioners blamed for exacerbating global warming.

The EPA enacted the rule in question in 2015, responding to research showing hydroflourocarbons, or HFCs, contribute to climate change.

The D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals' 2-1 decision said EPA does not have the authority to enact a 2015 rule-making ending the use of hydrofluorocarbons commonly found in spray cans, automobile air conditioners and refrigerators. The three-judge panel said that because HFCs are not ozone-depleting substances, the EPA could not use a section of the Clean Air Act targeting those chemicals to ban HFCs.

its like you are paid by the post... even if what you post makes no sense.
you speak of a correction from 2009. that was a long time ago.

here is the data as of June 2017. .21 degrees C and falling.
There is no way you can say that is not just noise.
you simply can not find a man made warming signal in that data.

Now when you consider how much error there is in our data collection and all the changes being made to it.

you all are crack pots.

and if you look at the time period starting around 1998.. you would not see any warming at all.

And if you look at a really long term chart we are in the range.

Yes it was adjusted and that's not good news for you

https://www.carbonbrief.org/major-correction-to-satellite-data-shows-140-faster-warming-since-1998

Researchers from Remote Sensing Systems (RSS), based in California, have released a substantially revised version of their lower tropospheric temperature record.

After correcting for problems caused by the decaying orbit of satellites, as well as other factors, they have produced a new record showing 36% faster warming since 1979 and nearly 140% faster (i.e. 2.4 times larger) warming since 1998. This is in comparison to the previous version 3 of the lower tropospheric temperature (TLT) data published in 2009.

Climate sceptics have long claimed that satellite data shows global warming to be less pronounced than observational data collected on the Earth’s surface. This new correction to the RSS data substantially undermines that argument. The new data actually shows more warming than has been observed on the surface, though still slightly less than projected in most climate models.

You are literally posting propaganda from Heartland and it's me who getting paid? And your data shows that an extreme peak was hit and data is returning to its median, that's not 'falling'.

heartland... why are you always lying your ass off.

I know about the el nino... I have followed it since the 80s when I moved to San Diego. My very good friend at the time wrote a book called Southern Californias Best Surf. It was well received in the community at the time.

He discussed the the el nino/ la nina pattern. I watched him discuss it with old surfers who said they saw it in the 60s. I was with him when he spoke with scientists from scripps about it after a surf rider meeting back in the early 90s.

ocean temps will rise with el nino and then fall. that is the pattern.
the oceans have been warming for 10000 years. then air temps rise... then co2 levels rise. that is how this works.

He literally has a page on Heartland as one of the paid propagandists but I am lying about what exactly?

he works with NASA keeping track of the Satellite weather data.
is that heartland propaganda... you troll. The Data comes from NASA. you are beyond a troll...

Roy Warren Spencer (born December 20, 1955)[1] is a meteorologist,[2] a principal research scientist at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, and the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer (AMSR-E) on NASA's Aqua satellite.[3][4] He has served as senior scientist for climate studies at NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center.[3][4]

He is known for his satellite-based temperature monitoring work, for which he was awarded the American Meteorological Society's Special Award.[4]

No, he WORKED for NASA, now he is a paid propagandist for people who KNOWINGLY suppress any info that goes against their narrative, do you want me to link to the leaked Heartland emails that prove that?

The data he is using is from RSS, that's not NASA, you are pathetic, only ad hominem attacks every time because you can't argue rationally.

do you even read... you lying troll. both your citation and wikipedia say works with NASA.

and in your link...

Dr. Spencer’s work with NASA continues as the U.S. Science Team leader for the Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer flying on NASA’s Aqua satellite. His diligent work on tracking the planet’s temperature provided a tamper-proof source of data with which to test predictions of man-made global warming. He has provided congressional testimony several times on the subject of global warming.

What is your basis for saying the RSS data does not come from NASA when the statellite is a NASA satellite and he is the team leader?
