Always remember, the system is set up to go higher, granted short selling can generate profits quickly, they can also disappear just as fast. All it takes is for a couple of desks to start a Bin Lauden rumor and poof its all gone.

I watched this all thru the bear market 2001-2003, profits can and will evaporate by the time you return from the restroom. Im not trying to scare anyone, congrats to the shorts today!
 
Watch the media start spinning every good bit of news they can find. I doubt the stock indexes will close at their lows, if they do the bears will have made a statement.

Short, long... who gives a (darn)?

All I care to focus on is averaging +3pts or better ER per session, and find out how many contracts are the limit before slippage is an issue. 20-lot is ok during normal volume, more during higher volume.

Do the math from there. If it's on the long side, short side or whatever, makes no difference when the profits are wired out. Just pick a trend and go... enough of those 6pt choppy little constipated intraday ranges.

is down over 50% in the last year. I think its time this Fund does its thing. Im predicting at least a 20% gain sometime in the next 3-4 months.
