Gotta love ZERO RISK in the SP500 = $$$

Seriously, this is the first day I've started crowding trailed stops at +2pt gains. All year I've held for +4pt ~ +5pt swings and missed out on tons of money, up and down.

Normally I would have left the short open midday and checked on it past 1:00pm est. That would have been +10pts, instead I covered on a trail at +2pts and out.

ceste` la vie... Makloda had zero influence on that. Please don't take me seriously on what I said. Old enough to know we're having fun here. However, there are newbie traders who read this stuff, see the charts and believe it.

There are actually other people reading this stuff? I thought it was just us from 100 pages ago!

I've been short-term trading since Dec 1999 and intraday trading ER since June 2004. I know better than to have a bias of any kind. I think we've warned enough newbies with our back & forth antics thru it all.

Once the indexes start moving like this in normal fashion, we'll all be too busy trading to jabber back & forth anyway. The hedge funds knew we were away from our screens when they orchestrated those program slams in lightest possible volume.

sold out of my TWM at 66.70. Only made 30 cents on the trade. Didnt think it would skyrocket today, was down over $1.30 on it. WIll buy back in at 65.5.
 
C'mon T280... what would we have to keep us mentally sharp these days without this thread? I say we all gather for a tall one (cold for me) in Aussie and spend some of our musty money in your beautiful country. Got room for everyone here over there?
