GOP silences Warren after she presents letter from MLK's wife calling Sessions a racist

Here's the beauty part:

Republicans cited Senate Rule XIX, which states “no senator in debate shall, directly or indirectly, by any form of words impute to another senator or to other senators any conduct or motive unworthy or unbecoming a senator.”

Democratic Senator Sheldon Whitehouse of Rhode Island inquired what, exactly, they would be allowed to say about a colleague up for Senate confirmation. The chair made clear that truth is not a defense in the case of Rule XIX...

I watched the whole thing. I have never seen such bad acting, ever.

Warren was trying to pretend shock and outrage and other democrats were even worse.
You would think they would at least make an effort to fool people, being that they on camera.

That you would think the outrage is fake says a lot about you.

Finally someone told that windbag Warren to shut up. About f'ing time.

Let's get a vote on Sessions and get him in there. If they manage to reject him, nominate someone even more hard line. Kris Kobach maybe.

The normal people in this country are beyond fed up. Riots every other day, biased media, out of control judges and dems who want to grandstand.
