GOP Leaders on Government Shutdown: It’s a Trap

to believe this trap crap you are a certified leftist or a republican moron.

1. lets look at how this amnesty deal plays out for those establishment candidates from presumable more mixed districts...

If they republicans agree to amnesty they wont have to worry about a backlash from tea party voters... because they won't be getting elected at all within a few years.

2. Lets look at in from a tax payer point of view.
Does anyone think its good for the tax payers and those with jobs to have 5 to 25 million more democrat voters?

3. Are these not the same morons who told democrats it would be could for them to follow the president's agenda?

how is that working for them right now?
the two things most of the media and the gop doesn't get right is

1. if illegal aliens are given legal status, they still won't be able to vote (or qualify for food stamps or welfare for that matter)

2. Legal immigrants don't necessarily approve of amnesty for illegals. Just because you are a law abiding Mexican doesn't mean you want the government to go easy on law breaking Mexicans.

But you know how those spics are, they all think the same.

The election with the lowest turnout for 60+ years. Reps won because dems "tipped their king".
That's irrelevant to my point. The repubs were going to be relegated to the trash bin of history because they shut the government down in 2013 (though in reality, it was Reid and Obama who pulled the shutdown trigger, as it will be Obama this time if funding is not provided for executive lawlessness).

I agree the "dustbin of history" is too much. The important thing is, regardless of who is actually to blame, is that reps take the heat for these stamp-foot crybaby shutdowns.

That cannot be denied. And I like your definition of the shutdown! LOL. Anyway, that's what makes it so politically effective for the left...till this election. It didn't cost them as was trumpeted for months afterward. Cruz took the brunt of the beating for that shutdown if I remember correctly...especially from the republican leadership. Man, were they pissed! And still, no apologies for their incorrect assessment of the fall out.

within days of being made "legal" there will be the next push...

1. equating with slavery
2. white privilege, whites fearing, whites stealing the country, CA and texas are really mexico
3. 2nd class citizens
4. monsters exploiting them..

they will be voting dem within 2 years regardless of what the legislation says.

How do you know a democrat or establishment republican is lying about amnesty?

what ever happened to seguestration? Wasn't that supposed to ruin my life? Haven't heard much about it recently. Turns out, in my opinion, it was the only good idea Obama ever came up with. And he thought it was so radical that nobody would vote for it.

wow db you are such a lying shill.

it was the cronies who were hit by sequestration not the poor.
the poor did not feel a thing.

However many times you repeat that doesn't make it true.

Step back through the looking glass and do a little research on what has happened to funding of social services. Not that you will. You prefer your bubble. But ignorance is not bliss. It just makes you act stupid.

People keep saying that, but I can't see how they would.... other than "which party gets political credit" for passing it... IT'S A BAD DEAL FOR NEARLY ALL OF AMERICA!

(Of course, y'all understand where I'm coming from... I'd like for ALL ILLEGALS TO BE ROUNDED UP AND DEPORTED... REGARDLESS OF POLITICAL FALLOUT! Don't people understand that the politicos are DESTROYING OUR COUNTRY TRYING TO SECURE AN ETHNIC BLOCK VOTE?)

Someone please enlighten me.

Republicans are under a lot of pressure from the Chamber of Commerce, big business financial donors and smaller local companies. All want more immigrants to either work for low wages or have big families and buy lots of stuff.

Plenty of republicans are either not conservative or not ideological at all. Guys like Boehner. They just want to have a spot at the trough. They are not fools. They can see that a massive legalization of illegals would be terrible for the party as it is now, but they figure they can become more liberal and get their share of that vote.
