From what I can tell, companies have to pay for the sick leave. In fairness a lot of companies can’t afford that especially those businesses with less that 500 employees.

You're likely right, though I don't see how a senator (as in video) would take a contrarian position.It's my understanding that the bipartisan House bill that passed Friday provides paid sick for 2 weeks for anyone that works at a company of less than 500 people. You would have to think that large corporations will provide paid sick leave for their employees that test positive for the virus as well, because they would be crucified in the media if they didn't. I doubt this will end up being a problem.
