GOP Candidate Who Blamed Autism, Tornadoes on Gay Marriage Wins Primary

Right, your diatribe about obscure state Republicans - WHICH DOESN'T APPLY to my thread proves your point just because you say so.

The candidate is running for a national office as a Republican, you built it, you own it.

In this case let's discuss all the KKK members in North Carolina who ran for national and state offices since 1990 as Democrats. The difference being that these candidates in N.C. had the support of the state & local Democratic parties - while this dingbat in Illinois does not have any support from GOP.

Now you can be a man, step up and state "I was wrong"... Or you can continue posting nonsense & fabrications. You have been called out and your bag of tricks is empty.

More deflection - let's talk about 1990's to prove a point you NEVER had.

Why go so further back, what about 2014?

So the best you can do is that some GOP candidate re-tweeted something and appeared at an event where the "Sons of Confederate Veterans" were present.

Shall I re-cycle the news articles about the KKK members running for office in North Carolina as Democrats in 2010 and 2012.

Why don't you just man-up and admit you are completely wrong and the premise of this thread is not only absurd but based on fabricated nonsense.

You do realize the only thing required to run for local, state, or national office is a small filing fee and a few forms. Any crackpot can run, unfortunately many do. The question is if they actually have official support of the Republican or Democratic party.

Given the best you could do is some tidbit from the 90's, a 2014 example seemed appropriate.

Shall I recycle the David Duke 'comfortable' in the GOP' speech?

Shall I recycle the Tea Partier who was kicked out for his racist remarks and who then made a comeback?

Shall I recycle the Republican who was caught wearing Nazi uniforms?

Shall I recycle the Tea Partier racist signs?

Shall I recycle a Tea Partier's Operation Wetback that was in the news last week?

The main premise of the thread is that the teapartier said things that Goehmert and other ELECTED Republicans say regularly.

Do you want me to pull up Bachmann, Joe Walsh and Goehmert quotes to show how extreme they are?

This is a fight you can't win, the nutjobs dominate your party and there is no hiding from it.

Your entire party's platform is based on the idea that people can get something for nothing, what passes as the "highly intellectual" side of the argument is jackoffs like krugman who claim we have to increase the deficit in order to pay down the debt.

My two year old nephew knows that you cant create money out of thin air, yet the self proclaimed "smartest guys in the room" tell us exactly that.

Name the biggest welfare program in the country (Hint - it's Medicare that pays out 3 times what people pay in)

Name which party got the most votes from Medicare Recipients.

Name which party campaigned to spend an additional 700 billion dollars on Medicare? (Please explain how would they have paid for it given Medicare Part D was NEVER paid for in the first place)

Answer those three and you will know which party is the party of moochers.

Which party started EVERY SINGLE ONE of these entitlement programs, except medicare part D name that and you will know which one is the party of moochers.

You are reaching for straws because you have been exposed as having nothing.

The bottom line is that a political party has a huge problem when they need to point their finger at fringe nutcase candidates in a twisted attempt to discredit the other party at a national level. It means that the party (in this case Democrats) is intellectually bankrupt and is unable to focus campaigns on the issues. The same predicament that drives you to post these media stories in P&R.

This is why leading liberal commentator, David Weigel, who works for MSNBC and Slate is stating "As the national electoral plight of Democrats increases, so does the incidence of stories about obscure state Republican lawmakers."

He is actually raising the alarm that the Democrats have a huge problem in national elections.

You reached for the straws when you started talking about the 90's.

Second, no political party was pointing out to anything, a blog that reports political issues MOCKINGLY posted an article about a nutjob teaparty candidate. You do know that Mediaite is NOT a Democratic Party operation? Somebody sure is out of their intellectual depth and it certainly isn't me or the Democratic party.

Third, I can care less for what some MSNBC analyst says, what matters are the polls and election results. Democrats absolutely thrashed Cons in the last election after Cons predicted a Romney landslide. Political analysts (just like market analysts) spout BS, that's their job, stop taking them so seriously.
