That guy is entertaining at times and as much as I'm sure he gets beat up around here, he has some sound logic.(read: "some") But he exhibits the same problem I find with most analysts: inaccurate timing.


Many wankers on wall st. set price targets for stocks then pat themselves on the back when 5 yrs later the issue finally hits their target. They howl "I've been telling you for 5 years! I knew it! Look how smart I am!".

Any fool can get a stock to hit a price-target, the key is providing near-term (3-12 month) ACCURATE projections: that's how you extract money from the markets.


It takes no insight or skill to set a price target - it takes little more to say that it will happen in 3-6 months. It means everything to be correct in price and duration more times than not.

GOOG is 465 pre-market. Based on the tape late yesterday this is being caused by some of the large holders leaving the issue.


Play time is over boys - this is going to be quite serious but it will be an invaluable lesson to watch the action while this is occurring.

edit: I recently bought more storage for the SAN cluster just to store the GOOG T&S over the next 10 months.

i agree this stock is going down short-term (6-9 months), whether it be to $400 or $370. Will any of you GOOG bears out there change your position when it comes down this low, or do you think this is just the beginning of a precipitous decline?
 
Shorts always loudest before a bounce.. 750 down to 450 bounce area.. The short money has been made.. Could go down further BUT greedy shorts could get what they deserve.. Once again.. no position.. I have traded stocks like this.. DRYS for example.. from 130 to the 40's and shorts want to see 20's.. yet support at 40's clear as day.. If I were an avid GOOG trader, I'd be fishing now. For a swing trader, no trade in GOOG now..
