GOOG suckers

Nice discussion.

For the record I've only clicked on a GOOG ad maybe once just out of guilt. Then the guilt just vanished. Since then never.

Never even look at them. Most of the people I ask never click on them either.

Who the hell clicks on those things?

:D

same here, who actually clicks on those ADS.

One thing to hit earnings will be the lack of all those sub-prime housing ads. But this is too risky for me to play.

yes this is the impression i get that NO ONE really pays attention to these.

when i see an interesting ad, and below it says ads by google, i immediately wave it off because i know the quality of those links are crap most of the time.

but it sucks for the advertisers, not for google. they make so much money from these ads....but imo, i think facebook can make much much more....and its just beginning.

It is not because YOU don't click on those ads that A LOT of people do
It is estimated that out of the 1 billion daily searches on Google about 10 % convert to clicks on those fu..... ads
If you believe those advertisers aren't making money out of that traffic, think again...

I am thinking again, and I still can't come up with any plausible reason for an internet suearch provider to be trading at a market cap of $150 billion +. IT'S JUST A SEARCH ENGINE!
