That's the part of my game I work on the most - that and putting. My scores came down rapidly once I improved significantly in those areas.
If only I could never, ever blade a chip again, I'd be happy. But I've eliminated most of those, so I'll take that.

You would think ... but I assure, on occasion, is it still possible lol ... but your advice is exactly what I've been taught, and it is 99% infallible. The other 1% ... it is what it is. Watched one of the best kids in the country on the college championship this week blade a chip across the green and into a hazard. It happens to the best of us, so its certainly going to happen to the rest of us.
One further item that I failed to mention----ball way back in stance takes care of the other 1 percent.
