Here's the issue----while it is true that putting is where the dough is made, amateurs need to get to the green to putt and that is where the game's focus needs to be for amateurs----not on putting. ----This is why focus needs to be placed on driving the ball as long as you can that will also be a straight shot. I advocate stiff graphite or even Steel shafts for amateur drivers of any swing speed in order to straighten and and still take a full swing.
