More ad hominem attacks from Hog. I'm shocked. Usually ad hominems are from the uneducated, due to their inability to articulate clear thought. However with you, it could either be that or the anti-depressant drugs you so frequent. Clinical depression is an ilness, I understand. Tough call. If you have to know, I have blown out my account twice in my trading career. I've never met a trader who hasn't. I take that back, I know one guy who hasn't, he's a rarity. Still trying to figure out how many times me blowing out has to do with your BS TA skills. Come on Hog, the ruse is up. The fat lady is singing La Donna e Mobile. That's your cue....:p

Don't mean to interrupt the fun in the sandbox but for the record it is a man who sings “La donna e mobile” in Verdi's Rogoletto. The Duke is a bit of a slut though, maybe that was what caused the confusion.

I know, but Hog would not have liked to hear about fat men singing. He's weight sensitive. :D

Good call on the Duke. :)

I think the question is what to do now? No one will ever know exactly why this spike occurred although fat finger theory makes sense, is this a warm up? Kinda like the talking heads saying why the market went up or down. I know one thing, SP at 1400 is no longer a mysterious, far away proposition, high 1398. I think this is a breakout trade to the upside. I know I will have at least two stops on the downside. Kinda like a two bagger, one for me in case hers breaks. No economic news, lots of earnings tomorrow. Maybe another FOMC pause, etc. LOL. :D

"When something happens on which you did not count when you made your plans it behoves you to utilize the opportunity that fate kindly offers you.

But as I had told you before, my experience of thirty years as a trader is that such accidents are usually along the line of least resistance on which I base my position in the market."

how quick these markets forget about that wonder earnings report from CAT!!!!!

Or maybe they remembered the earnings from IBM, GOOG and AAPL. It can be argued both ways.
