It's killing the bikini season that's for sure.
Took my granddaughter to the play ground yesterday and noticed virtually no one at the community pool. It was too cool for swimming, in August. In the deep south. Local weatherman said we're experiencing the equivalent of Oct weather right now
Maybe I should take her to the north pole instead. According to the alarmists there's a heat wave up there.
Actually she's my step granddaughter but yeah you can call me PaPaw. She calls me Ha Daw, a left over from when she first stated talking.Quote from LEAPup:
Granddaughter? Does this mean I get to call you PaPaw?![]()
Quote from jem:
of course temps could go up ... the earth cycles.
The difficulty is trying to discern if man is impacting the earth enough to modify those cycles.
My reading and the links I presented a few months ago show that using the best statistical methods there has been no warming outside of what can be expected from natural variation since the Industrial revolution.
So if you said perhaps we should be careful about pollution or control pollution I would agree. I am disputing wealth transfers based on lies about what the science shows... but trolls like FC.
The models have failed. The creators of the models admit they to make new models which include the sun and the tides.
The new buzz word seems to be the earth is not as climate sensitive as thought (CO2 is implied because they do not want to be plainly outed as past fools).
Its showing up in the articles.
Quote from Ricter:
Is there a chance land temperatures will resume rising like they did after the last big pause?
Quote from jem:
FC --- I can not tell if you are nuts or just a crazy troll.
So I propose a test.
If you are a troll you will avoid answering this question.
If you are demented this will not register on your brain.
If you have a shred of intelligence you will click the links I post below and admit your are ignorant or stupid.
Test... Intro
Please click on the links below.
Note the graphs of the 73 Climate models.
Look at observed temperatures at the bottom of the charts.

Test question...
Did any of the 73 models predict the non warming we see now?
Bonus question...
Would models which failed to predict the current non warming...
be successful models or failed models.
Quote from futurecurrents:
No. Air temperature trends always go in straight lines because the only thing affecting them is CO2 level. The ENSO ocean cycles or high altitude aerosols have no effect. Haven't you been listening to jem?
Also, predicting what the global air temps would be now ten years ago was easy. It's as easy as predicting the weather. So if a prediction fails it's obvious that weather predicting is useless and we should throw all the science of meteorology out.
Get with the program. You need to start listening to jerm more. Because only a fanatical righty who judges everything according what the right is supposed to believe can have the right answers to science. Like the evolution hoax.
Quote from jem:
I guess seeing 73 failed climate models caused you to blow a mental gaskit cause that was some very illogical crap.
Trying to paint my argument based on fact with with your illogical and emotional argumentation is not going to fool anyone.
The only science you had to show man made co2 was causing warming was / were... climate models which predicted warming. As you ironically point out... predicting climate 10 years out is ridiculous. Of course they failed to predict temperature.
That was not science it was a big leftist fleece the tax payer con game.
Quote from futurecurrents:
So jem. You pretend to be a smart guy. Why did Spency-boy use tropical mid-troposhere temps to judge models that are trying to model GLOBAL temperatures? Any ideas on why he might have done that? I'll give you some time to figure it out. We'll be waiting for your twisted - I mean brilliant - analysis.
