I completely agree. We need to have the science nailed down before embarking on all of these costly and cumbersome tax and carbon credit programs. This has become a political and emotional battle, and that's the wrong way to settle these matters. We are really just now getting the data we need to sort things out.

I think you are confusing conservatives with sellout mainstream politicians.

Farmers are conservative in many ways.
Similarly the members of the NRA are conservative. And many of those hunters believe in managing the resources they hunt. Is that pc no... is it conservative and smart yes.
People who manage forrests are the same way.
People who manage oil frequently take the long term view.


Just about everyone who owns resources for the long run tends to be in interested in proper management of the resources. And many owners of assets are conservative.

Many of the biggest names in the early environmental movement were conservative. Conservation - conservative.

Lincoln and yosemite. Teddy Roosevelt and national parks...

Eisenhower...

The point is that there has been no statistically discernable warming in the temperature records for the last 16 or more years.

It does not matter which record you use or Spencer used.

The IPCC models failed. They projected temperature rise and it has not happened.

(we are not talking about oceans so don't go to your favorite deception right now.)

Finally, you must know that your models failed so badly the Met office released a new model on Christmas eve which now projects virtually no warming for the next five years.
