Global warming hoax fools millions

Question is not whether or not climate change is, and has always been (since well before the use of carbon based fuel) real. It's whether or not it's anthropogenic. That's the real debate here. Temperatures have been much higher previously in recorded history. Yet, we're all still here, and doing okay for the most part...

Quote from BSAM:

Most Americans are brain dead when it comes to the relationship between the US Treasury and the people who live here. It's not about how much the government "needs". It's about what the people need.

It's not the government's money. It's your money!

The United States government will always "need" more, more, more. This arbitrary theft from the people will stop one day. Maybe not in your lifetime, but one day the people will say no more! (We gotta have a balanced budget amendment.)

Now, as to the topic of the thread: (and excuse me for being on topic) If you believe global warming isn't real, then I can only assume that you do believe in the Tooth Fairy.

Nobody is "scared shitless" except of paying more and having yet higher deficits...
If most are paying more I don't see how that would mean a larger deficit. Seems contradictory to me.

According to my link, which is about the flat tax, if you eliminate the EITC that means an even BIGGER increase in taxes for almost everybody.
Seems like an exaggerated claim to me.

Again, a graduated/sliding scale (ie. a "progressive" tax system) is not a flat tax.
Technically no but now we're just talking semantics. I've maintained pretty much from the start I have no issue with a sliding scale.
Nothing wrong with you wanting a simplified tax system -- in fact there's many good reasons why a simplified system would be a good idea...
Common ground!

Will you be reverting to wagons to deliver this suggestion on paper to them?

I can see you are the type that is not capable of thinking in systems and change challenges you.

You do not see that a good portion of our industrial base and jobs were transferred out as why we let the asian "tigers" and china... protect their industries and our industries.

And you think it is a good idea to let china manipulate the currency market.

This is clearly true. I only work with systems that change on a daily basis. I fear change, and fire.

I'm not sure how you read that into my posts when clearly my posts were communicating that I think it is a good idea to allow bears to marry.

Because to increase federal income taxes from 0% net to 17% for families of four with $50,000 worth of income is simply unworkable. So guess what will happen? That's right, the Republicans will just bill it to our kids.

Seems like an exaggerated claim to me.

Great -- it's good to find common ground -- now how do you feel about marrying bears?

Nope, they haven't. Global average temperatures have never been higher in recorded history.

You question the suggestion tariff's instead of income taxes with a smart ass comment and now you dodge the issue.

Really? Is that what your friends "on the ground in Copenhagen" told you? :D

I don't understand why they aren't paying taxes - like the rest of us. Maybe not 17% but they should be paying something.

Haven't given it much thought frankly. Although I was married to a mad cow for 12 years.
