I'm considering shorting some Green Mountain Coffee on the Einhorn tip. GMCR
Stock at 80x earnings with possible accounting fraud there. Its a momentum stock though, so only a small size is warranted

I'm often early in fading this sort of euphoria, and quite frankly am scratching my head that markets are rallying this morning on this weak sauce. I will reassess the situation at $1.05.

You must be truly enjoying it.

Well, I wouldn't be declaring victory just yet. The markets have reached the point where you can only start to laugh (or cry) - hanging on every single word from some douchebag eurocrat. This is what we've come to. I hope the central planners of the world are very happy.

The euro jumped about 150 pips and euro shares a couple of % in a couple of hours on some chatter that German lawmakers were shown a draft report of the new EFSF that will allow it to buy debt directly from governments. I mean holy shit! Problem solved!

Clearly anybody would have to be borderline insane to hold a big position in this environment. So yeah, I'm up a few dollars, but one word from Merkozy and the position will be drowning in red.

I would just like to get past this euro nonsense so fundamentals - not eurocrats - start to control the action again. I will be looking to scale back the position before the weekend.

Copper acting horribly again and is back within spitting distance of the recent lows. Curious to hear the rationalization of the perma-bull excuses on bubblevision once a break of the $3 handle sparks another bout of selling in the commodity/materials equity space.

Just covered half of AUD short. Pretty comfortable holding the rest even though we could get one more major risk rally in the coming hours/day.

This could truly be of interest. In a world where correlations have turned to 1, it's interesting to see the divergence between copper and shares.

I hate the moniker Dr. Copper with a vengence, but could the metal be saying something?
