Yet, two-way real love does last forever.

So you see nitro? No one answer for everyone. Is your girlfriend want the same thing you want?
Is she long the relationship market like you? Or she is short the relationship market like most of the posters to the thread?:D

Quite frankly, love is a term created to explain a set of feelings that we experience as human animals. Love, the set of feelings, is not as important in real life as a respectful and caring relationship. The latter two characteristics are actually quantifiable to some extent.

I'm sure someone who falls in love every year or someone who does not have kids will feel different. I'm speaking from 10 years of marriage experience.

You can love many women in a lifetime, but you can probably share the rest of your life with 1 if you are lucky.

I am a hopeless, hopeless romantic. Ever since I saw this movie, I have known what I want, and I found her.

Hopeless romantic?

I bought a painting of a scene in NYC central park. My wife didn't like it when I brought it home and showed her. After some thought, I made her an offer she couldn't refuse. I told her I would take her to New York, we'll go to the diamond district, I'll buy her a ring and then give her the ring and propose marriage again on that very spot in the picture and have someone photograph us there. Mission accomplished, what fun we had.

Are you going to show us the picture?

Great scene. "How can you do that? What? Look at me like you haven't seen me every day for the last 13 years." That, my friends, is how a marriage can work.

Learn to be happy with what you have and you will be happy with whatever you have.

Love, I will say again, is transient. Attitudes are what can make it work in the long run.

And you feel good! Now you go for the buy and hold.:)

If buy and hold it is.
Don't make the mistake of going in unhedged.
